Loving Too Much?

loving too much is killing yourself. love yourself first before you love others.

yeah.. thats what i intened to do sometimes.. i forgot about myself. often times i would do everything to make him happy even though that would be very painful for me. i swallow my pride(always) i always give in to his idea. feels like everything i do was for him. that my world revolve around him... is that a sin?

I don't think that there is such a thing as loving too much. Maybe you are confusing false love with being possessive or obsessive, then if that is the case, its not called love. You can never say that too much love was given to him. Love is unquantifiable.

The only way i can think of someone loving to much is if that person is not recieveing the same amount of love back .. does this make sence.. for example if you are obsessed with somone that does not even know your name of know you then yes you can love them to much .. but i think loving your spouse or children there is never enough love.. i feel that sometimes i am obsessed with my girlfriend like i cant get enough of her but she likes that it make her feel my love she knows its true when i cant be away from her she likes it.. so that is not to much love .. but if she didnt enjoy it or give it to me in return then i think i would be wasting my time and "loving her to much" does this make sence ??

I believe there is such a thing. When all you think and care about is your loved one, to the point that you forget to take care of your own self. That could lead to possessiveness, which could be very destructive. It could destroy you, your loved one, or both of you. Anything that's too much is bad. And as the title of the band Queen's song goes, "Too Much Love Will Kill You."

I think that loving too much is possible but then it also isnt genuine love anymore either..its more like psychotic obsession which isnt love to anyone but the psycho..
