Would you sacrifice your relationship with your mother for your husband or wife?

defineetly not. How it could be, a relationship between mother and her child is given by god but the relationship with you'r spouse is which you found. so what do you think which is the best?. if you you'r child ignores you after he or she get married what you feel?

Well, Bible says in Proverbs 18:22 " 22 He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the LORD." so I believe a marriage is given to a person by God. I would feel hurt if my child ignores me when they get married but I know the what the Lord says about marriage and it says a spouse is put right after God so I would understand my child and not cause any friction in their marriage.

You are sooo sweet. If you are married your wife must be understanding but if not I hope you meet a REALLY nice lady.

My mom is one of my best friends. We have always had a close relatioship. On the other hand,I would have to put my husband first. He is my soul mate and next to God he is my dearest friend.

I agree that your husband should go after God. That is the way the Lord wants it.

Wow! this is the very question everybody would know what to say as far as that person is determine/know what he or she wants in life. your mother is so important and your wife, husband are absolutely important. but once you are married you have automatically having your own family of which a good mother should know that likewise fathers. she remains my wife while my mother will always remain as my mother/ father
