Addilyn, she will be 2 in March, has always been a quick learner--very,very smart little girl. Too smart sometimes. She will not keep her diaper on for anything! She started doing this about 4 or so months ago which, i thought, meant to go ahead and start potty training her. So i did attempt to and in the beginning she did very good then it went down hill. I figured that she was too young, so I talk to the peditrician who told me at her age they are able to make themselves go and have a facination with the potty, but are unable to comprehend going to the potty when they HAVE to go. he told me to go with it but when she eventually got over here facination to let it be and not to discourage her b/c this could hurt the real potty training down the road. So, thats exactly what i did... I dont know what to do now. she wont keep her diaper on, she poops in secret places around the house, and I can't get her to go in the potty. I have put her diaper on---put duck tape around it--then a pair of panties-then a onsie--then pants--and she still takes it off. ive even tried it backwards! well, thats my diaper/potty traing blues...I hope I am not the only one out there!!

Sorry I can't help but laugh. I was going to suggest a onesie and some bib overalls but its my guess that she will figure that out too. This may sound strange but try putting the poop you find in the potty and make a big deal out of it. Maybe she will get the hint. My grandson is almost three and he is still in training. He was a stubborn one. I bought him some cute underwear and a potty seat that fits right on the big potty. Or you could get one of those potty chairs and keep it out where ever she is. Your company won't like it much. lol. It sounds to me that she wants to start being potty trained , she is just not sure how to go about it. Good luck.

Try going to Yahoo Answers. I found this to be a good place to go if you have a parenting question sometimes.
