Well,im from Kolhapur.. and kolhapur is well known for it's spicy dishes..If you are a vegeterian then it's famous for Veg Kolhapuri which you will get it all over India & even Kolhapuri Misal ! ANd if you are a non-vegeterian then the sky is the limit.. there are many dishes such as chicken/mutton kolhapuri and the most famous Kolhapuri Thali which is world famous fo it's red & white curries ( even called as "Tambda-Pandhara Rassa") .. and if you want to taste original.. then you must have to come down here to Kolhapur !!
