I beleive there is such a thing I thing that it is basically be kind to a person just a fancy name for it.It is like trust do you trust this person or not faith these are all ways to explain the word karma it is simple to use one word then a mass of them.

Karma, performance of positive action results with the reaction of a good conditioning in one's experience, whereas a negative action results in a reaction of a bad response. This may be an immediate result following the act, or a delayed result occurring either in the present life or the next. Thus, meritorious acts may create rebirth into a higher station, such as a superior human being or a godlike being, while evil acts result in rebirth as a human living in less desirable circumstances, or as a lower animal. The idea of karma was popularized in the west through the work of the Theosophical Society.

I would love to believe in Karma...on the other hand with us it seems the more we do for others and put them first that worst things get for us. We arent doing for other to get something in return but it would be nice to see something turn our luck around. Maybe its time we put our needs of the family first.

Right! honestly there was a time when i did believe in karma. but after forever i got nothing in return so i stoped believing. about the same time my religion went to 0.0 odd...

well I do believe in karma. But I've always done things for charity and the homeless since I was little. Yet, I think I must have really bad karma because I had one sick little baby, (my first born of course), had accidents, car damage, tough things going on with my job...I believe I'm a good person, and treat people kindly. I think I am going to change my direction, and definitely look for another job. I definitely think I had bad karma with my avon biz, and I gave tons of stuff away...So I am not sure what is going on with my karma, because I met some of the worst customers, and worst people you could ever imagine.....no joke!

yet another post on here were the posple get nothing but bad fortunes or nothing in return. i really feel for you and honestly it is for reasons like this that i stoped believing in karma alltogether.

Karma is a sum of all that a person has done, is currently doing and will do. people go through certain processes and accompanying experiences throughout their lives which they have chosen, and those would be based on the results of their own creations. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life. it seems to be logical, so i must believe in karma. like smoking will result of losing health, while yoga will result in being healthy long time.

Well I think you believe in Karma also. But you are talking about karma only for the present life, like in your examples. But do you think if we do bad things in this life, in our future life or maybe our children would suffer for the things we had done?

In a way that's hard to explain I'm sure there is karma, maybe sometimes the universe rewards us or punishes us for our actions, but I think that we have a lot to do with it ourselves.

I don't believe in karma, neither do I believe in second lives. I believe in the present life where it is important that you do good so that people may appreciate it and respond to it.

A lot of people believe in it.. personally I remain rather neutral. My actions reflect how I feel things ought to be done. I do not do good because I am afraid of bad karma. I do good for example cause I enjoy doing so.

i do believe in karma, good karma is when you do something good, there will a good return to you, or you will get like a reward in the future, and bad karma when you do alot of bad things, it will back fire to you or you wil get bad events in your life. 'if you do good things, good things will happen to you - if you do bad things, bad things will happen to you',

Yes I believe in Karma, "what goes around comes around", I think good or bad karma does not matter it depends on what you do with it every day in your life, do you grow from it, or do you suffer from it. Life is too short, just my opinion. Have a nice day!

Well I think it wont hurt to really believe in it. It really does make sense that if you do good to others then they would do good things to you too. And if you do bad things to people, they might just do the same to you. So all being said, let's just try to do good things in this lifetime.

I believe that what goes around comes around and it's a very good idea to be the best person you can be. When you are good you project positive energy and attract it. Same is said for the other side.

I don't get what are you trying to describe, you don't believe karma ... but other than that you do not belive ?? sorry my english is poor.
want to share opinion a little. in karma teaching exactly you controlled your own live and your future, I can't get your meaning that you do not belive that anything controles your life but you, therefore the karma tell us, your future and your live is on your own hand.

i do believe with Karma.what we doing in right now can affect our life in next day.if we doing a good thing then in next day we can take a good effect to.but if we doing a bad thing then we must accepted the bad thing to.as long as we doing a good thing then we dont need to worried about anything.

I definitely believe in Karma... I actually believe that What you do comes back to you many many times... I have experienced it in my life....
I was to go to US all alone for my job... I did get a lot of help from people who were unknown to me.... I felt that help came at the right moment when I needed it....
So in all places and in all situations u will get help if you do good to others and think good to others :)
