Why we always used the word "Merry" in
greeting Merry Christmas? Why not instead
joyful, holy and etc?

I love mixing it up^^
On cards I sometimes write "Have a Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year!!"
I'm always on the lookout for even more creative ideas than that one!
