I see date of expiry of food, drinks, cosmetics, tooth paste. It is very important as health hazards quesiton is associated with expiry date. I also see age (production year) before acceptance of friendship invitaion from myLot friends (he he).

I always look at the production date as well as the expiration date of all food items that I buy. I've actually found outdated products that were missed by the people at the store. I wouldn't want to purchase something that was close to it's expiration date because I would probably want it to have a longer shelf life.

I always look at the expiration date...not so much the manufacturing date. Further to that, the usual visual inspection can tell you alot about the can food or tooth paste or etc. If the product is dented or packaging opened or if bottled drinks, when you press the bottle and water comes out of it...BEWARE! The expiration date might be months away but if it FAILS the visual and physical checks...DON'T purchase the product. Look for others...simple!

food - food
I think it's very important and yes,I also have to look at the date of expiration,as especially in shops it seems that the freshest is pushed to the back.
