Wrong number calls

Ugggh these wrong number calls are getting on my nerves! I'm getting them at all hours of the day and NIGHT! The people calling claim they are trying to reach Senegal in Africa and we're in Brussels, Belgium in Europe. The phone company says that there's nothing wrong with the line and that it's impossible that our phone number would be crossed with one in Senegal. What could it be and what can be done?

I'd check your bill after these calls to make sure you're not being 'scammed' in someway.
Although alot are genuine that just sounds abit dodgy.
My Mum's mobile started getting a few calls from this guy wanting to speak to his girlfriend, he wouldn't have it that he had the wrong number, if he didn't call he'd text. This went on for about five nights. I think they broke up because she wouldn't answers his calls :P
