I think I will never meet such situation! that's really hard to make a choice. If I were you, I would choose both.

well friend really simple to say that you can choose both but the question is what if situation does not allow to do so?

Love of your life. (if your in the right age!) Why? because, parents know for a fact that their children are theirs, for a certain time,.. meaning sooner or later, they will come to realize to have their own life and love. No matter how hard and painful, parents would still understand if you choose the love of your life over them, because that makes us happy.
