Why is everyone complaining about not having quality discussions?

So many mylotters are complaining about not having quality discussions. If all those mylotters post at least one quality discussion, mylot will be overflowing with quality discussions. In the sub headings for discussions we can have one called quality discussions. The mylot administration can transfer some discussions into that category. Then those who respond can choose the type of discussions they want to answer. There are times when we go to see a film based on a serious plot. This is a film of quality. But sometimes when we are not in a mood we just see a film where there are some dances and songs. So I think everything should be there for us to choose. What do you think?

very true and I agreecompletely with you. if we can start quality discussions we can easily solve the problem and what's the defination of "quality" here? One may like some topic other one may not. So one can start quality discussion according to one's own set of values and choices. Thank you very much for starting this "quality" discussion. All the best!

Thanks for the response. I think you are very enterprising, and you have started very young. I too had a accounting and computer firm 20 years ago, but foolishly closed it and went for a foreign job. Now I regret to have done that. My computer at that time had a fine monocrome monitor and .5 MB memory. It did not have a hard disk. But today the things that are there seem to be unlimited, and the opportunities are great.

dear friend past is past and an ended chapter. Look ahead and start afresh. You have the quality in you and you can do whatever you wanr. Your imagination is your limit. Start with what you know and like most. Share that with others. If there is a product there is a market Tap the market and make your endeavor succeed. We want to you see you at your top.

I really liked your discussions. But did you notice that the responses for the Eintein riddle was very much less. In my case I am craving for discussions like that. Discussions like what is your name run into hundreds of responses. That is because peoples tastes differ.

I admit it seems to be very slow on and off. At first I was willing to answer anything but now its starting to slow down for me...Yeah I think so too. There are times I have a headache and being on late night early mornings it is harder to process the deeper conversations. I love the variety of mylot... I try to post a good discussion every couple of days.. But starting discussions for me is kind of difficult, I try though.... - DNatureofDTrain

I too have started a very little number of discussions. But I keep responding to a diverse selection of discussions.

Some of us do start long serious discussions - and don't get many responses. I think it's because people don't really want to spend the time arguing at length about anything. They want to stick to two-line responses.

The thing is Mylot is asking for long descriptive responses. So for some discussions it is easy to give a long response. It is an opportuinity. But for a discussion like "What is your name?", the responder has to do more work to elaborate his answer. I have noted that I get about 4 cents for a response. All my responses are at least five lines or more.

I am pretty new here to mylot and mylot's community seems fairly small in numbers in comparison to other web services/forums which are similar in nature. I think as the community grows and quality writers suggest to their friends to join up as well..I think that the weaker topics will have to get phased out. As quality writers begin to notice this very same issue, hopefully they will flood the mylot market with thought provoking, deep and lateral thinking discussions. I am a fan OF ALL OF YOU who are digg'n deeper than the "wat r you eating tonite?" questions!....Don't worry...my lot seems to be alot of fun so I think word will get out and the more "qulity" discussions/topics WILL PREVAIL! peace and "kudos"...to this QUALITY topic! I agree with you. We can't continuously complain about the lack of quality discussions and then not start them ourselves. In a forum this large, there is such a wide range of people from different cultural, educational, and financial backgrounds. Our interests and priorities are all different. I understand that, but what really gets me is the cheaters who are stealing topics and the people who post nothing except "how can I earn more money" and "burger king or kfc?". Those, in my mind, are not quality discussions.

Some discussions requiring one word answere get thousands of answers. So I go to the zero response area to find discussions.

I've been doing that also. The problem with answering the one word discussions, even though they can get hundreds of responses, is that when MyLot reviews it and deletes the entire discussion because it is worthless, everyone who responded loses credits and earnings. So it's not worth it to post to those types of discussions.

ur right. sure theres always a time for quality discussions but not all the time. they should be categorized. to make that clearer. or ppl should just not entire posts that arent quality long and meaningful.

Thanks for the response. I find a lot of quality material here. Sometimes it takes up my time just to read them. But sometimes I prefer to respond to something like "How old are you?" etc. As long as we can choose there is nothing to worry.
