Postsecret.com is one of my favorite websites. It is updated each Sunday with new postcards that people just like you and me send in that share that person's deepest, darkest secrets. Each secret is personal and touching. It's all very human and I often find myself nodding, smiling, laughing, and even crying. Do you think you would ever send in one of your secrets? I have often considered it but I have not yet.

I love this site as well!I also nod, smile, laugh and cry. SOme of the secrets are really moving.. even if you have no idea what kind person made the confession. It's just all so human.
I'm not sure I would be able to contribute though - I think other people have far more juicy secrets :P

Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that - I'm sure we all have secrets that we could send in, you too.
;)
I'm often surprised at how many of the secrets I can relate to when I read through them.

Hi Chewy... no, I don't think I could send my secrets in. However the site sounds pretty interesting. I wonder whether it's contrived or not? I'll have to have a look at it I think. Some people can actually write things down, or talk to people on the phone about that sort of stuff, because they can't be seen. It's a bit different face to face I guess.
Anyway, thank you for sharing that. I must take a look. :-)

I love postsecret! I check it every week... one of the saddest and most touching was this postcard with a picture of a girl's back with a tatoo that said 'be strong'... and she wrote, 'I got this tattoo so I would stop cutting myself.... it didn't work'... I cried in the coffeeshop when I read that... It reminds you that we are all so much more alike in our nuances than we are different. And if only we could reach these levels with each other more often... how beautiful would that be? Something you might enjoy: have you heard of Found magazine? They have books of notes and lists and things that are randomly found and then turned in to the mag. Equally fascinating, sometimes funny, sometimes really, really sad.

I am rather fond of PostSecret.com I love reading all the postcards that people send in, because it is touching to me how people can be so completely open to the whole world, complete strangers. I have considered sending in a card several times, but I haven't yet. I really want to some day though, I just don't want to rush it, I want it to be something well thought-out.

I found out about postsecret from a friend. I tried it and of course I felt like I am connected to most of the people that are sharing thier thoughts and of course thier deepest secret. I'd love to send some of my secrets too, just can't find time to do so. But I encourage everyone, that this is one of the best way to share or voice out thier feelings. It will help.

Interesting site. Thanks for telling us about it? Some of those secrets are really deep and very, very personal. No, I don't think I would send in one of my secrets. My secrets are pretty boring compared to some of those! LOL

I looked at it, that was fun. And sad. I had to stop looking at it or I'd be tempted to think up postcards of my own to create, which would be yet another distraction for me from what I'm supposed to be doing--working, and trying to find more work!

I really like this site. I think it's great that people can get secrets off of their chest, but still be anyonomus. I've never sent anything in, but the temptation is there. Have you read the book?
