Why my no. of posts are fluctuating?

Hi friends, in the afternoon my no. of posts have fallen from 974 to 940. In the evening they have gone upto 967 and now to 964, Is it happening to u also?

My Lot is deducting from people that answer questions with only a few words like I agree or me too etc...

Do you answer questions with short answers like "I do" or "I agree" or "my favorite color is blue" etc...

I never do that. Some of my answers are really long, and detailed.
Still, Mylot took 5 points from me this afternoon, without any reason given whatsoever, and it's happened to far too many people, by the looks of it, for that to be the reason.
Also, I very much doubt they would take FOUR HUNDRED from somebody in one fell swoop.
It's not just the points either. There are a few complaints that e-mail alerts haven't been received for a few days.
I think this is purely technical, or I hope so anyway, or Mylot will be saying goodbye to my contributions, because they're cheating us.

This was in the My Lot rules
"Please make sure you give your best effort to respond with quality responses. If you don’t know how to respond to a discussion, go on to the next one. Answers like “I don’t know” or “I don’t care” don’t help anyone and will be removed"
which means your points will go down

We all know that... they keep sending us alerts to tell us. I always answer fully and in great detail.
For instance, my favourit colour is purple... I explained why, and what the significance of purple is. What more can a body do? They're taking points off just because they feel like it, I'm sorry, but that seems to be the case. Either that, or it's a technical problem which will right itself.

Yes I was posting yesterday and my score went down 5. Then today has gone down 1. I gave a positive + to a several of discussions and my score went down. Why should I rate positive if score goes down when I do????

Mine keep going down a few points and then I work back up and they drop again. I answer good questions and I usually have a lot to write so I don't know why. I hope it doesn't really start going down on me. I haven't noticed any loss in pay so I guess it's not so bad.

As of now I lose 3 points and I kepp posting still just to reach my 500 rating goal but then it wont go up and still stuck with 490 but meanwhile I am in my 493 and was doing may 2 other posts but then when I posted it, it goes down to 490. this really sucks!

It seems to be happening to a lot of people. One guy lost over 400 points. I only lost 5, but it's still annoying when you spend a lot of time on here, answering people. I hope it's just a technical fault that Mylot will sort out soon. I'm going to wait 24 hours and see if it comes right, then perhaps, take it up with Mylot.
