When was the last time you got mail notification on posts?

I had all my friends notifications turned off. You can turn them back on again if you go to where your friends are. Unfortunately I think you have to do them one at a time.

I think everyone is getting frustrated, and mylot is to blame for not notifying anyone about what's going on. They're going to lose people this way. I'm wondering that if our ratings go down far enough will they start telling us we owe them money? It's discouraging to keep working hard only to see the numbers continue to fall. The biggest fault I've ever found with mylot is their lack of communication. I've tried e-mailing them, and they never respond. They could at least do more alerts to keep people from worrying what's up.

In my case more than 120 points has been dropped and I don't know the reason... I have just posted few responses in this couple of days.. I am getting bit angry and would be much happy if some offical person from mylot take the initative to tell us what's going on...

i know how you all feel and i think after this month i will be taking a break from mylot, my post dropped 70+ points today and i have no idea why, there is no communication with them, I emailed them at 5am about my post dropping and it is now 6pm and not so much as a word. I lost 10 post on monday but wasnt worried but 70 geez, I know I am not breaking any rules so whats up. I am also getting a bit bored but i get that way sometimes just need a day to clear my head then ill be ok. I also saw today there are problems with i kobo accounts luckly i use paypal so we'll see.

I get the notifications every time someone responds to a discussion I started. They should explain somewhere informing us what some gliches are if any.

The last email notification of one of my friends creating a discussion was on the 8th. I miss them and it makes finding my friends new discussions easier. I agree I hope they get it fixed.

i think lot of users are facing this problem. And it would be better if the users are informed beforehand of what to expect.

I have been receiving all notifications. I would suggest going back and checking to see that they weren't accidently turned off by mistake. I have had it happen to me on other websites before where my notifications got turned off for no reason.

i havent ever gotten anything...not sure EXACTLY what you're speaking of, but either way i ahve received nothing from them ever.

Well I'm getting notifications on my friends postings but I wasn't originally. My email provider was putting them in the spam folder. I had to go to the web version of it (I usually get things in Outlook Express) and had to tell them that this was not spam and add the email for the notifications to my address book. Since then I have been getting them.

I didn't even know I was getting them.. until I looked in my bulk folder and saw dozens of them. All I can say is thank goodness that's where they're going! I turned that feature off immediately afterwards. I'd rather just check the discussions later when I have time.

I have gotten notifications from mylot. These have only been on the topics I have started. And that people have responded to. There is only one problem. I do not get these emails to my email inbox. I get them in my spam box. So maybe that is where yours have went.

i thought it to be a rare scenario. but now a days i could see atleast 3 to 4 posts started about this topic. so this should be a serious issue. It's better to contact the administration and know the inside facts. Being a newbie, i would like to know about your progress on this.

no I have not had any e-mail notification for a month or so. It does not matter what e-mail address I use I get nothing through though I have my notifications swithced on. It is very annoying but maybe the system can't cope with the volume of people using this site. Hopefully this will get sorted out soon.
