Dal or lentil soup: My favourite and a good protein source for vegetarians

Dal is one of my favourite indian dishes. Dal is made out of various pulses or lentils. The moong dal is the easiest to digest and is very good for kids and when person is sick. Toor dal tastes awesome. Its also called yellow dal. Masoor and chana dal are good too. You can make a pancharatan dal by mixing these five types of lentils too. For vegetarians it is a good protein source and every vegetarian should have dal twice a day atleast. So for all teh dal lovers ....keep it up!
