I'm not an only child but I am the only girl my Mom had. I have 3 brothers and yes, there have been times in my life when I wished I was an only child but at the same time, I do love my brothers.

Being an only child has its good points and bad points..
Good thing i didn't have to share anything its was all mine..I got all the attention.. and yes i guess you can say i was a little spoil but good spoiled not bad spoiled.. :) Also i got good toys.. cause my mom didn't have to buy for anyone else.. my friends use to love to come and play barbies cause i had so many.
The only think i could think of that is a bad point was that at times it gets lonely cause you really don't have anyone to play with or talk to other then the grown ups.. I was pretty lucky cause i had some cousins i played with that were my age.. so i had some one sometimes to hang with
Oh yeah i forgot to say i was an only child.. LOL..

My husband is an only child. He said growing up was very lonely. But after watching how families treat one another, he is happy he has no sibblings.

I also have a younger brother but from my experiance only children often get spoiled. My boyfriend and his cousin are only childs and are the most spoiled people i know!

I am gald to be the only child. You get all affection and care and the mre important one is that you get FREEDOM the right to do things withouht being dependent on others. What ever you get you need share . So you will be cherished and protected.
So it is important that one must realise that he should come out of that situation and must be able to cope up with all other .
So I feel there are both positive and negative aspects of being a only child
