Hi everybody...
My operating system is windows xp professional, my PC was infected by a virus which couldn't be detected by any antivirus software( am using norton anti virus 2006), i keep on updating my software bur still it couldn't detect. I tried installing other antivirus softwares in the market(AVG, Mccafee,etc..) but i just couldn't open the installation file. All my softwares stopped working I had no idea what to do.Thanks to my computer craze b'coz I do lots of experiments in my PC and I was familiar with all the files and folders in my harddisk, while I was trying to burn a CD using Nero I observed two unknown files in every folder viz,"desktop.ini" and "temp.htt",it was visible only when I opened folders in nero otherwise encrypted and I went on deleting these files one by one in every folder it was a very tedious job but I had to do and thank god my PC was back to form, once again healthy. Is there anyone who came across such viruses? Is there any easy method? Please share your experience and your advise.

i think you should setyour computer back a few days before you encountered your problem.i just had this problem..go to start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore. after u have done this you can use any anti virus program, you can download free trials from the internet like avg or antivir

well... install and scan your pc using an anti-spyware like spybot and try.
