I am becoming agrivated with the shippers that deliver packages lately .. I have had my packages taken to so many different places it's just awful
I ordered a prepaid cell phone. The carrier was Fed Ex..Well I decided to check the status and the website said "delivered"
It wasnt delivered but taken somewhere else..probably next door and the neighbor and I simply don't speak to one anoter..
Why can't they deliver it to the right address..This has happened with a computer i had.. paychecks etc..
Dont they have mapquest on their computers or hand helds?
Lord help me be patient.

There is a lucky family in Texas that keeps getting books I order. The problem is that the site puts in my zip code 76611 next to Israel, and some idiot at the post office, then decides Israel must be a new city in Texas, and simly ships it to the intended zip code :(
They don't even care that it's paid for international shipping.. Some day I 'll come to Texas to see how they are enjoying my books, LOL.

Err, that's exactly the problem.. the person who sends the package can compain, or wherever they sort the mail.. I live in Israel, and the package simply never gets here. It never leaves the states. I don't really mind, since I got a shipping address in the states now - I get my books late, but I do get them.
I just hope someone out there enjoyed the books he got from me
Too bad they weren't labeled as bookcrossing.com books :)

I haven't had any problem with them personally but my family has. My family lives in a rural community and their mailboxes are at the bottom of the hill where they live. The FedEx driver has been putting their packages beside their mailboxes regardless of the weather. My sister runs a business out of her home and she was waiting for a $13000 check and the FedEx driver put it in her mailbox. She had already got her mail that day so she did not check in her mailbox. When she checked the status online it said delivered. The driver told her he delivered it to another route number. The package had originally been delivered on a Saturday so she did not check her mail again until Monday and that is when she located the package in her mailbox. When she contacted FedEx about this they did not see a problem with it until she pointed out that it is a federal violation for them to put it inside the mailbox.

My dad recently had this same problem. He called Fed-Ex and they said his package was delivered but nobody ever came to the door. Seems to be an ongoing problem at Fed-Ex.

My family can't seem to remember where I live. I have had 3 people in my family send packages to my old address this year.. I moved over a year ago. I just found out today that my aunt sent my kids a $100 present, to my old apartment. Sigh.. I might actually have to drive over there to get it (well, she's saying I should. She lives on the other side of the country, so she can't really do much on her end).. it's been signed for, or so she says. Like the manager is going to go check to see if the people living there opened up a package that didn't belong to them?? And I'm just gonna show up and demand it? I don't know. I think I might have to hurt somebody. LOL

i have the same question... my boyfriend in sweden sends me letters, cards and packages through regular or registered mails. however, i am questioning the postal system of the philippines already. his first letter was delivered to my neighbor. okey, that's fine with me. what made me irritated was the letter was already have opened. the third letter was never delivered. the fourth one is a package and was delivered... it was registered. fifth, sixth, seventh were nowhere to be found. and when i went to the post office to inquire about my lost mails, i never got a clear answer. it's as if they are even happy that i am confused and annoyed with their system. i never recovered the mails anymore. and i told my boyfriend not to mail me much anymore since the philippines has this very questionable postal system... and i hate it so much!

I have never had a package delivered elsewhere and claimed to have been delivered to me, but I have had carriers put cards through my door stating that the parcel has been delivered at a certain address.
This has never caused me any problems, although the potential does exist if a parcel is delivered to the address of someone that you are on poor terms with.
Basically, the carriers are not interested in anything apart from getting rid of the package, which is a very poor attitude considering the service that they are supposed to be providing.

Yes I had a very important package coming from my Uncle and the delivery guy transposed the numbers in his mind and delivered it to someone up the street then that person didn't even look at the box cause they were leaving town on a trip. So they just stuffed it inside thier house. So we didn't get the package till a week later and the delivery company kept telling us it was delivered it was so frustrating. I kept telling them that I would think I would remember having recieved the box.

Yes it is so aggrivating..Usually when you complain they always try to make it look like you have a few loose screws..or that your are crazy..not that they have made the mistakes..So many times I am turned off by companies who feel they can never ever make a mistake!+

I haven't had mine delivered elsewhere yet. But UPS does deliver packages for someone on our street to our house all the time. They just leave the package too, so we havent had a chance to tell them. So once a week I have to go see the inpersonable neighbors who look at me like I tried to steal their stuff.

i have been through this kind of hell twice and the worst part was that one of the companies refused to attend to my complaint so finally i ha dto move to the court and made them pay through their nose for their misbehave.. they had to pay me Rs-5000 (110$) as the fine.

I have had it happen also. That is why I confirm with a live person the day the item is supposed to be at my dorr that they have the correct delivery address. I will look up the shipment online as well and if I see even the slightest thing wrong the first thing that I do is get on the phone and call someone. Even if my address has been cut into two lines I want to make sure that they are going to deliver it to the proper place. I once had a package that had my apartment number chopped off so it was not delivered. The error was the carriers fault not mine. It was time sensitive information too. I suggest that you always follow up whenever you have anything shipped.

NOpe I've never had someone else receive my package, but I know what a pain these delivery companies can be. I remember when I was waiting for an access code to get delivered to me so that I could start my online class. I ordered it, then they said it would show up the next week. I told the lady that I wasn't going to be home during the day, did it need to be signed for? No, she says, it doesn't. UPS left a note on my doorthe next week saying that they had a package, and they'd be back the next day. The next day, I call UPS, and ask them if I can come pick up the package. They tell me that it was sent back to the company because the driver said I don't live there. Hmmm. Just because I'm not home doesn't mean I don't live there, genius! I call the company back and they send it out again, Thank you FEDEX for making this work. UPS SUCKS

I feel it is becoming a Big problem anymore, and no one really seems to think any differently of the issue. I know back when I was on Unemployment somehow one of my Checks got misplaced only to be delivered again like 3 months later. I had requested a replacement check though a lot earlier, so this ended up being a Duplicate check.
I always Fret now when I know I am supposed to receive a Check from someone, that it will reach me OK. But a Cell Phone. This is rediculous, and what did the Company and FedX say when you contacted them? I should think FedX should be responsible for this Error, and reimburse you if this phone is never gotten to you.

Well Fed Ex told me to call VIrgin Mobile..Virgin Mobile said I had to handle the problem with Fed Ex and finally now I was told that though they had the proper address 402 ... they took it to 404..
Why would they do that..And the driver said he left it there..I am not even friends with the next door neighbor..she just isnt friendly towards me so I mind my own business and let her live how she wants on her side of the fence;)+|

I am myself trying to have patience! I am waiting on a package that should have been delivered on the 7th. I know its only the 12th but last time I checked it was in a city only 3 hours away since the 3rd. No other information is available. I've contacted the company I purchased the merchandise from (some of my childrens Christmas gifts)and they all say wait a bit longer. USPS says to wait to contact them again until the 19th. The company I bought the gifts from says they have to wait 30 days from date of purchase to do anything. What they will do I don't know. It's very frustrating because these are Christmas gifts and Christmas is coming up fast! I don't know where my items are, if they've been lost or misdelivered, I have no idea!

I am still waiting! I have the tracking number but it last shows of it being accepted/picked up by the post office 3 hours from here. That was on the 3rd of this month. Today is now the 13th. I can do nothing but wait, very aggravating! Very upsetting too, I've gotten the bill from the credit card for the items before I've received them!

it didn't happen to me that often but i do know of some guys who had their mail or packages delivered somewhere else, i do not think all the blame should be with the delivery company, sometimes i've seen that some address are really hard to make out. if there is no confuion as such i do not think the delivery company would want the trouble to deliver it somewhere else.
