How do you know if your best friend likes you? / myLot

I have a friend, we get on very well, just recently he's started stroking my back and hands whenever we have to listen to the teacher or someone's doing a presentation or whatever. He's also always makes sure to sit next to me and says so if someone else goes to sit next to me on both sides as I'm normally next to my other best friend too... I know he fancies someone he works with and would never confront him about this but my friends already thinks he likes me from the things he says... I've not told my boyfriend as there's nothing to tell and I don't want to loose either of them in anyway. What do you think?

Tough one to call, but if the signs are there then your mates aren't mistaken, if the topic arises, explain to him that your with Ant and you like him as a friend.

Thanks for the advice. The thing is he knows I'm with Ant but has teased me a few times about my boyfriend being 3 years older... I know he doesn't mean it as he teases all of us about whatever he can... we all do but meh! I'm confused.

I think you are in a dangerous game and it could explode and cause you great harm propriety should be observed in all things and danger removed

thanks for your opinion :) I've left college now and so there's no more stroking of the hand or whatever. We still meet up occasionally with the rest of our friends and stuff but there's no more stroking and stuff now where out of college :) Maybe it was just a temp thing.
