do you understand tarot cards?

I can understand the cards to a certain extent, but that's reading the regular tarot cards, the ones with all the suits. I can however, read a different deck of tarot cards that I have which really happen to be my favorite deck. I'm rather in tune with them.

When I first started reading tarot cards almost twenty years ago I didn't understand the first thing about them. I constantly relied on those books that came with the deck to guide me through the process, but now when I read for others, a lot of times the cards speak for themselves even when I don't know much about the situation in question. I've been amazed more than once to do a reading for someone only to have them turn around after and say, "Wow, I can't believe how on the mark that was!"

i just bought a deck with a book about the meanings and such. hopefull i will be able to do accurate readings one day!
