Would you get a job that pays well, or a job you love?

I have a bit of a problem. I currently have a job that pays well with a $5hr pay increase in the near future. I am young and will have the ability to make about $100,000.00 a year in a few years if I continue with this job. Plus I would be able to work from home. The problem is this job is not what I have been going to school for. I have a few classes left at school before I get just an AA. I had originally planned on opening a child care center for infants and toddlers. Doing this is what I have always dreamed about. But doing so does not look like it will offer as good of money. Plus I would have to invest a lot more time into it. I plan on starting a family soon and I would like the ability to work from home. That, and the money are the only things keeping me here. I can see myself growing tried of this job and maybe someday becoming disappointed if I continue with it. What should I do?

I would do what you love.Im a stay at home mum, pays crap, but what i get from it is just wonderful.Waking up to his adorable little smile far beats any money. Believe in your dreams 7 don't let money change that!if you can get by with the childcare business, i would say go for it!!!!!Good luck, whatever your decision :)

Last year I quit my job of 7 years. I took a job paying $5 hour less. I don't regret it for a minute. It is one of the best choices I ever made because I no longer hate going to work and has made me so much less stressed out, Good luck with your decision.
