Is the first impression really the best impression?('_')

not always...

It is generalised statement and may be true in all cirucumstances and for all persons. I saw a house from outside and found it was the best house. It was my first impression. Later on I found that inside the house, the layout is quite uncomfortable, open drain behind the house, house was leaking. Similarly I employed a sales executive, who was neatly dressed and speaks well. I was very much impressed by the personality and even in the interview he did well. But he was utter failure because he lacked practical application of his thoughts.

Yes it is always so. First impression is the best impression.

I think the first impression usually gives good insight into the personal. It's not always the best impression and not always accurate with who the person truly is.

Normally I am pretty good in "categorizing " people at first impression but then there are those which you thought they are nice and they turn out to be backstabbers or other you thought they weren't worth your while and ended up to be my best friends .. I am very careful nowadays and normally I just watch people on more than one occasion before I make up my mind about them

it's partly true..you form an impression about a person when you see him /her for the first time..and it'll take time to change that...

Depends ..sometimes yesss it is u can make a direct impact on a persons mind.sometimes it may time for others to understand wat exac tly u are..so depends

This is a famous saying that first impression is the best impression but it is not applicable everywhere. It applies well in a job interview because you are going to be assessed for few hrs or minutes there. But I don't accept this phrase in our life because one can't be judged in the first look. The circumstance may not favour a person to give best impression in the first attempt.
