The fact is, many types of vegetables can prevent cancer and provide the protection against cancer. Research has identified many active ingredients found in vegetables and their roles in protecting different types of cancer.
1. Vegetables with the Highest Anti-cancer Activity
garlic
cabbage
soy
ginger
umbelliferous vegetables such as carrots, celery, cilantro, parsley and parsnip
2. Vegetables with the Modest Anti-cancer Activity
onions
flax seed
citrus
cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower
solanaceous vegetables such as tomato ( rich in lycopene) and peppers

That's very nice to know that nature provides us a cure to all diseases. Maybe some cure are not yet discovered, but that fact that natures stuff provides us with knowledge to prevent all this sickness is a plus factor in man's battle to live healthy.

A friend of mine was told by doctors to drink lots of juice made out of ginger,beetroot and carrots and I mean lots, he almost lived on it and he has lived a lot longer than wht he was first told he would.

i have heard that lycopene is a good fighter! I always try to get tomato sauce and tomato juice and just plain tomatoes! good sources of this veggie
