My daughter is 17 and is not "active". She does have a serious relationship so we decided to put her on birth control...the seasonale. She gained like 35 pounds in four months..? Is this normal. Has anybody heard of the DEPO shot? Does it have the same history of possible weight gain?

I would talk to her doctor, I think some birth control methods will make you gain weight.I think the depo shot is one
