Does it make a difference for a child to grow up in a two-parent family or a single parent family? why do you say so?

i think family environment is more important to child,a child grows up under the ever-present attention of his parents.A single parent family is a family with only a mother or only a father,he/she should care about child's mental health.

Of course it does! Every parent has it's own rol and place in a childs life. A mother does typical things and so does a father. A child needs to learn from both of them, that is the most natural situation. Lot of problems occur when children miss one parent. Not always of course, there are a lot of children that turn out okay eventhough the had just one parent. But I think everybody will agree, that the best situation for a child is to have two parents.

I think I'll go with one in the two-parent family. Child should get the love from both mother and father the at the same time.

Two parents under one roof makes a HUGE diffrence. One parent gets tired, stressed and gives in many times more than if there were two envolved. Plus the child feels twice the love.

I think it does. I came froma two-parent home and over the summer my husband left, so I am looking at life a single-mom. I have always thought there are a lot of atvantages a two-parent home offers that are just impossible in a single-parent home. I know I will be fine on my own and do my absolute best, but I cannot deny there is a lot my daughter is going to miss out on.
