Why do people be mean to elderly people?

They are our past, our mile stones.. They are the ones that raised and love us... Why do people think they are stinky and make fun of them? Everytime I see an eldery person, I try to make them smile!!! I LOVE THEM!!!

I love my grandparents. I dont see them much so I try to be nice to other elderly people where I live. I dont want other to treat my grandparents bad.
