I recently read a question posted that was asking for help "saving my divorce"?!Why would someone want to save the separationfrom the woman that he loved? If the two of them are separate I am sure what ever he did to cause the separation is action enough to completely end his marrige. Shouldn't he be trying to SAVE his marriage?

without seeing the original message, I would almost say that he is in a marriage, and separated, and is enjoying the separation and doesn't want to get back together and maybe the wife does... can't say for sure.

That's true. And sometimes divorce is the best way for some people. if you're miserable and can't work it out, there's really only one way to resolve it. I just hate that as soon as things don't go perfect one of the people immediately think divorce, while the other wants to work it out.

I've been down that road, twice... I have found, as I've gotten older, that I have a more old fashioned sense of things than most of my peers.

I'm the same way. well, first i never thought i'd get married. But when i did find her, she's it for me. there is no one in the world, quite like Leslie. no one. and that might be a good thing. LOL but she's mine. and i am so grateful.
