A true friendship perish where ther is no selfishness, greediness and no expectations of whatever. Then you can call it as a true friendship.

A true friendship is one of sincerity and concern for one another. There is no monetary amount involved or any expectation from either person. This is a good topic because my friend & I were just speaking of this the other day. Apparently another so called friend asked her to pay her rent. This wasn't the first time she asked her to pay a bill for her. When I heard that, I quickly disagreed. Not because the person shouldn't of had the help but you don't go running to your friends to pay bills. That is not what they are there for. There are favors yes but if it were me I would try to resolve it first with out including a friend of mine. My mentality is this...my friend needs her money for her own bills so I wouldn't dare to ask. My friends have helped me out in the past but it came from their hearts. They never asked for a cent back. But just like they helped me when I didnt ask for it. I paid them back them the same way. I appreciate a good friendship...they love me for who i am. They know I am not perfect, they know my dirt and still want to be my friend. That is a friendship.
