depends on who or what you are writing for. Foutain pen for lovely writing or legal stuff. Biro for everyday use and pencil if you need to erase anything.

Quite an interesting question. If I am having to actually write instead of type, I would choose an inkpen with black ink. Normally, however, I do most items on the computer. Overall, I prefer my keyboard.
