Why snow appears in white?

Why snow appears in white colour instead of other colours? Any reason scientifically or othrwise?

SNOW REELECTS ALL THE COLOUR SO IT APPEAR WHITE ..

Thats a good question, its really interesting actually, I wish i knew!! Im gona guess that it is colourless, but because of the crystals it traps white light from the sun, and some is refleced...or something like that anyway!!
