Reasons of Smoking

Why do people start smoking. Do they start after a severe setback? Do they start because of bad company? Do they start because they dont have other things on which they can spend? or is there some other reason you know?

well i dont have experience in this one but i know a few people who do it ive asked them why do they do it and they did not give a proper reply to me once a person has done it once they get a habit of it and if they dont smoke they feel uncomfortable so its better to be as far away from it as possible

Yes I also believe so and after reading above answers from two persons who actually don like it but cannot leave it my view is also similar that its very very hard to quit smoking.

I started smoking as a tryout thing then it turns out to be regular have it, then it become should have it then must have it and now I want to make it neve have it... now smoking is controlling me... I will live it. it is a part of my new year resolution.

Well all the reasons you mentioned are applicable to some or the other person. SOme just have it for fun. Some are just trying to imitate thier dad or uncle. SOme are doing just to give company to thier friends.

I don't know why other people do...personally, I started smoking because I loved seeing others doing the same. And I'm still a smoker and I don't want to give it up cos I LOVE IT! It's not healthy, it costs a lot but the real love doesn't know limites :-)))
