Help with mobile/pc please!

Firstly I hope I am permitted to post a help topic here, if not I apologise now and please feel free to delete it.
Problem is, I bought a Sony Ericson W850i mobile phone and am meant to be able to watch MP4 clips on it but they do not play on the phone! Someone said I may need to change a file on the PC so my phone can read them but I haven't the faintest idea about this! Does anyone have any brainwaves please that may help? Many thanks.......

Nope.i have no idea of what you're talking about.I use a nokia phone and havent faced any such problems yet.MP4 files work directly when loaded from the PC.Cheers
