Can someone please tell me a valid reason to sign into their msn messenger with song lyrics or what they call "profound text" of who they are..this is annoying me and its just looks crap.

or is it just my whole contact list that does this?

They don't sign in with that, they sign in with their account name. However they can change their display name to fit their moods or what have you. I know myself I often change mine. Right now it says Brr! It's cold here. I haven't changed it in a few days but it had dropped down very cold for us over the weekend.
If you get MSN plus (it's a free add on for MSN) you can have it so it shows by only what you want and not by how they change it.

Well, often have lyrics on my MSN name, sometimes my own lyric, sometimes others! But i always have "My name" - "the lyric" ... I hate when people only have the lyric as their name, cause then its hard to find the person you are lookin for! But the reason why i do it, is because whats in my name, just express how i'm feeling, Somethin i can relate to, or things that i find funny!
