is coffee just for the adults, or is it safe for kids to drink it, too?

A little sip or a a couple ounces of it midday as a drink would not be harmful I don't think. But you could get yourself into trouble if the child likes it. Kids have so much natural energy that false energy is rarely needed. If the lil one likes it he may drink from your morning coffee without you looking and get wired for hours. I know that is how I get when I drink too much in the morning. Not to mention the after effects of the headache and "the crash", leaving you feeling tired and sometimes ill.

Coffee is safe for children - just make it less strong, and milkier for them.
