even when you knew you were wrong? I know I have [occassionally]. Right now, I'm think I'm being a little bit of a hypocrite for I dislike people who are forever insisting that they're right when it's so obvious that they are the ones who are in the wrong.
We humans are proud creatures right? We have our fragile little egos and we like to protect them. Even during the times when we shouldn't. It takes a very self-assured,forthright and brave person to readily admit that he/she has mucked something up. It's not so much a matter of fearing the consequences after admitting something, but the loss of dignity or as we Chinese put it "loss of face" after doing so. Is it really that shameful to admit our mistakes?

Oh yes sometimes i have done this stupid mistake. Now i dont. Its not shameful to admit our mistakes. Instead admitting your mistakes can make you more respected. When you admit your mistake you are leaving your ego behind. When you leave your ego behind you flourish and then there is a potential for growth.
