do you like hip hop?

Well, i like older hip hop. When i say that, i'm refering to the early to late 90's hip hop. All the new hip hop now-a-days seems to be too main stream, nothing seems to be original anymore. Also, hip hop seems to have taken a pretty steady step off the cliff, all the new music seems to be about love and being rich, and who has the biggest bling, and thats about it. Older hip hop had meaning to it, rappers would sing about their life, and life experiences... Not just about being rich, but rather what they had to put up with to get where they are now, and the life style in wich they grew up in. Lately it seems as though "coolness" is decided on who has the Bugatti or 5 million dollar house, and not who actually has talent, like tupac or Biggie.
