opinion on blood donation

i want ur opinions about blood donation like whather u r interested to do or not? if so, why? and any doubts about it?

I have only donated my blood to my son when he was born (he was a preemie and needed it right away) and again when he was a couple months old...while still living in canada the Red Cross contacted me regularly to donate again but I never did. The only reason I did it for my boy is because he's my boy and he needed it...In all honesty I dont know if I would ever donate again other than to my kids really...though I honestly cant tell you why

i think u r in disbelief about blood donation
no harm to the donar;indeed fresh blood is produced by donar with in 2 - 3 days
if u have ur own strong reasons ,its upto u ma'am

Now this is interesting. I used to work in a blood bank.
You wouldn't believe what people don't know about the process. It is definitely a good, social safety net for those in the midst of serious trauma with blood loss.
The biggest thing to know about blodd banking is that you cannot save your blood "just in case" you get in an accident. If you are injured enough to need blood, you will get the first bag of o negative packed cells they can lay their hands on.

well i strongly support blood donation.Well it may be really helpful if a person is in need of it.I have donated blood many times in past.Also i will continue it too.
