Life and death.....!

It is amazing that people care so much about their life, claim to value life, do so much to extend life, and fear death more than anything. Yet at the same time contribute to the death of countless of innocent being. One of my driving belief in vegetarianism is that in this day and age it is not necessary for another life to die just for me to live. why is the life of an animals more important than mine? And the answer is that my life is not more important that any other person or creature alive. That is why i choose not wear leather or eat meat. i dont want to contribute to the death of another living being. How many lives do you help end?
