I use Microsoft Office for 2 seasons: first of all, it is the one which came with my computer, whose operation system is Windows, of course. Secondly because it has all the necessary components to do the most various activities around my computer in a simple and effective way.

i am used to microsoft office since i was in highschool. i find it more handy and is very easy to use. i use open office, too.. rarely though. and i don't like it that much. the commands are a bit complicated. or maybe, i am not just used to it. but i'd still prefer using microsoft office.

I tend to hate the "this or that" type questions, but I have to answer this one to give my support. I prefer OpenOffice. It's free, it does everything MicroSnot Office does, and I just think it's better. You can also open those MicroSnot Office files in OpenOffice AND you can save the OpenOffice files as MicroSnot Office files. You can't lose! Gotta love OpenSource!

if you have internet access it would be open office. but for complete features and accesibility it would be microsoft office. with all the new open source software out there its easy to change from microsoft office to open office but without any added security it would still be safe to do your word processing and spreadsheets locally.

I like Microsoft Office because..its very user friendly..
By adding additional features into the MS office we can do a lot of things..The MS access is the simplest database..that can be learned without the help of others..
We can also integrate our database and other documents very easily with other windows applications..

I don't use either. I have no need for a spreadsheet or email program, because I don't do any work with numbers and I use Gmail ;) I do a fair bit of wordprocessing, and for that my favoured application is Abiword. If I did use an office software suite it would definitely be Open Office. Free open source software is great. Microsoft ripoff software? Not so good.
