How can I give a Christmas gift without it looking charitable?

I have a couple of acquaintances who I've become very friendly with this past year. I'm so excited to give them Christmas gifts, especially because I know it's been a hard year for the both of them. Problem is, I don't want them to feel obligated to reciprocate. I want to tell them not to buy for me, but that might sound as though I'm taking pity on them. I want to explain that it's been a financially good year for me and that I want to share a little bit of that with them. Is there any tactful way to do this?

I would not worry to much wrap it up and give it to them and I am sure they will appreciate it and if they say anything then just tell them that you want to share with them I think it is so good of you to do this you are a good hearted Person If I was in that Position I would do that to but unfortunatly I am not but I would appreciate a friend of mine sharing with me and not see it as Charity so go ahead and do it

Thanks. I'm glad to hear that (since I already bought their gifts)!
