When is the last time you requested your credit report?

I just did the free annual credit report from all 3 companies. I have never done this before, but I think it is great. But watch out if you have to print them! Mine ranged from 15 - 41 pages long! Guess I'll have to replenish the paper & ink on my printer after that!

I request one every year from all three companies. They can be quite long when you print them, but I think it is well worth it to ensure that there is nothing on my credit report that shouldn't be there. I always keep the records in case something pops up on there that shouldn't be there.

I do this once a year, usually. This will not affect your score since you are getting your own report. Some banks offer a program now, to help notify you of changes in your report. My bank does this for free for me. You may check into that as well with your bank.

When I try to get credit they pull up my report. It is not good to keep trying to get credit. that can make your credit bad or put a damper on it.
I don't think I would want to get annual report. 15-41 pages long no thank you.
