Work from home.. why?

Why is it that so many people seem to be driven against all of the "work-from-home" stuff... Is it becouse people are too lazy, to get to work, or just want to be their own boss? Please respond with you advantages and dis-advanteges....

I started working from home so I can stay home with my son and not let some day care raise him. The extra income we make pays off debts or lets us go to dinner. Someday in the near future I plan for my husband to retire early and for my income to support both of us. He is only 30.

I think there are a lot of people who cannot find work because of certain issues, or people who need to take care of children have to stay at home. Maybe old age keeps people at home. IT is very convenient with the internet for people to find ways of supplementing their income!

people try to work from home becuase they can not leave home for some reasons, for example they have kids to look after or some other personal reasons. Others find it better to work from home, maybe because they have established their business and it is growing well.
