My friend taught me this. So Let me make it clear now itslef that it is not my own. But I took the test and I concluded that my proficiency is of intermediate level. Check it out yourself. Add your comments please:) I know many people have difficulties speaking english. Here are three difficulty levels. Try to read these sentences aloud, then you'll know how good you really are: Beginner: Three witches watch three swatch watches. Which witch watches which swatch watch? Intermediate: Three switched witches watch three Swatch watch switches. Which switched witch watches which Swatch watch switch? Expert: Three swiss witches, which wished to be switched swiss witch-witches, wish to watch three swiss Swatch watch switches. Which swiss witch-twitch which wishes to be a switched swiss witch, wishes to watch which swiss Swatch watch switch? If you've managed to read the last sentence aloud without any error, then you might consider yourself someone who dominates the english language.

I think, I need also improvement, can you suggest anything available in internet, which will be helpful to improve english. Though here we are on discussion forum, it will automatically improve the english, just we have to take care of spelling and grammer.

you are most welcome. I think it is designed such that 90% people will fall under intermediate category. It is just a fun thing. I dont think it truly reflects on the real ability of english speaking.

That was kind of funny.I passed the intermediate but when it comes to expert level i had my tounge twisted.lol...I think this will apply when you are talking not when you are writing.I always have problems on pronunciation though.

Thats the case with most people. Writing a language comes easier than speaking it correctly. Although some basic speaking is the easiest.

I could read it without error, but it all ends up sounding the same in the end. I read all day non-stop to my students, though..so I'm used to tongue twisters

That's too hilarious! English is my mother tongue, but I started laughing way too hard to finish the Expert sentence! I guess that means I need to practice harder, doesn't it? Man, to tongue twisters ever do my head in! :) ~Wyrdsister
