Yes, definitely, Yoga helps in reducing physical, mental and emotional stress. Yoga is well-known for its calming effects. Because of the body/mind connection, if the muscles are relaxed by stretching, the mind will also relax, with less anxiety and better sleep patterns.

I've been doing yoga for years. It's definitely helped me stress wise. It focuses your mind and keeps it in a state of calm. Not only does it help with stress but health wise, it is great for the body. You open up the body so it functions better on a daily basis. You should ry it.

Yoga as we all know it is aimed to unite the mind, the body, and the spirit. Yogis view that the mind and the body are one, and that if it is given the right tools and taken to the right environment, it can find harmony and heal itself. Yoga therefore is considered therapeutic. It helps you become more aware of your body's posture, alignment and patterns of movement. It makes the body more flexible and helps you relax even in the midst of a stress stricken environment. This is one of the foremost reasons why people want to start Practicing Yoga - to feel fitter, be more energetic, be happier and peaceful.

yoga nidra - the best way to relax,is a deeply transcendental form of relaxation, somewhat like a lying down meditation and is equivalent to any sitting meditation. if practiced properly, it has the potential to remove tensions and worries embedded deep in the mind.
***the practice of yoga nidra yields invaluable benefits during the entire pregnancy.

I never tried to do yoga. I hear many people telling me I should try it.
I don't know if I can do it, but I will try at least one time!
