To spank or not to spank?

I have three of my own. I give them hidings when it is needed and I am proud on their well behaved manners when we visit people. They always tell us what good kids we have. It is important for me as they learn dissipline and respect.

i do not think that it is good to spank children. it will just cause them to have a trauma. they're kids, they don't really know what they are doing cause they are not matured enough. all they need is a bit of nice and good explanation of what is wrong and what is right. i'm sure they'll listen because they are curious by nature and they have such innocent hearts
