In your opinion, what is the best age for a man and for a woman? Explain why you think so.

Hey! How's it going? Do you know the old saying: "Life begings at forty?, well, it's true. I can't speak for men, not even all women, but, you're old enough to think knowledgeably and young enough to do the things you could do at twenty. What could be better?

Never been better. So my boss was right. He always told me this and told me to wait till I reach that age. Thanks for responding and have a merry christmas and a happy new year.

I found my early twenties were the best time. I was grown up enough to have freedom and enjoy myself. I worked full time, played sport and went out socialising as much as I wanted to and spent a whole lot of time with my dog and cat, doing artwork and working on my own little bungalow. Suddenly I had to grow up becuase I became a mum and things were very different. But my late twenties were hard and my thirties so far have been a lot more comfortable. My boyfriend liked his early twenties too. I sometimes wish it was still just me and the pets, is that wrong? lol

Its alright, we all feel that at least once in our lives. For me also my twenties were the best. But my previous boss used to tell me 35-45 is the best decade for a woman. I really dont know what he meant by that. He wanted me to wait until i am in that age. Now that I am 37 but he is no longer my boss!!!!

For a man, when he completes his studies and gets a job/starts a business, plus when he gets married to a man, his golden age starts. If he encashes during this period of 15 to 20 years, his life along with his family is settled.

Good point. So you think, sooner the better? I also think the same. Cos if you get kids after 35-40 yrs, its possible that you'd miss out on a lot of their lives. Plus, since you'd be very old before even they finish college, you cannot have a peaceful retirement (LOL)

The Indian teachings differentiate the four world ages (Yugas) not according to metals, but according to colors, whereby the white color belongs to the first, ideal age. These colors were originally assigned to the planet Jupiter, Saturn, Mercury and Mars just like the metals. After the world fall at the end of the fourth, worst age (the Kali yuga) the cycle should be continued, eventually culminating in a new golden age. The Krita Yuga aslo known as the Satya yuga, the First and Perfect Age, as described in the Mahabharata, a Hindu epic: [...] Men neither bought nor sold; there were no poor and no rich; there was no need to labour, because all that men required was obtained by the power of will; the chief virtue was the abandonment of all worldly desires. The Krita Yuga was without disease; there was no lessening with the years; there was no hatred or vanity, or evil thought whatsoever; no sorrow, no fear. All mankind could attain to supreme blessedness. [...]

“Nobody grows old merely by living a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.” Because of this quote I would say the golden age is when you realize that every day is a new beginning for a man or woman.

I think age is abit like days, each days can have its ups and downs and sometimes you just got to do the best with what you got. Same with life, some years are good some are bad and were are all the same just different in our views. For me each day is a good day so long as I wake up.
