I DONT SURE.........IS NOT MARK THERE ARE MANY PLAYER SAME BEST..SANTANA...FOR EXEMPLE......OK MARK WAS A BEST AND THE LOOK OF DIRE STRAITS...

i don't know if he's the best guitarist but i can say he's great and i like his music very much
