I was just wondering when most babies roll over for the first time. My baby is 3 1/2 months and has not rolled over. I am just wondering when he will. what about sitting up on his own?

My daughter was born 4 weeks early. She was always about 8 weeks behind the others. Today she is 2 and her vocabulary is a little behind...but still on schedule. www.Babycenter.com gave us the information we needed. We love that site still.
Enjoy your newborn!

Don't worry about it, every baby progresses at their own rate. My first son did before three months and the second one was almost four months. Sitting up for the first baby was about seven months and around the same for the second. Some babies take longer and some are faster, just enjoy every moment of him, it will go by so fast you won't even know what happened. Don't waste the days counting to milestones, just cherish them.

My daughter was special need and I was told that she would not do anything other than laying back on the floor. She proved her doctors wrong by rolling over at age 1 year and 10 months!!
