during a trip to Rome,I called room service to order some coffe. eager to trot out what little of thier language id gleaned from my phrase book,i give my order and room number in italian. too busy feeling smug, i failed to catch what the clerk said next. i ask her to repeat herself more slowly. she did, but still i didint get it.finally still in italian i asked her to repeat her comment in english. doing her best to stiffle a giggle, she replied, "your italian is very good"
