well, i was really born with a silver spoon really!haha! what iam wishing is that i'd be born with a golden spoon in my mouth. LOL! bt seriously. I am the type of person who is not materialistic. as long as i am having what i deserve to have i'v got no complains with life. lately im learning how to squeeze in when the budget is low because I'm officially a bum ryt now. my allowance is trimmed and my benefits to buy things has decreased.I am an underboard nurse who is not allowed to work by my parents. maybe ur thinking my 'rents must be rich. yes they are! they;r rich with love and sincerity they love me to much too much that they cant afford to allow me to work outside my chosen career. they want me to focus with my review and this is what im doin' ryt now. focusing a career at my lot! wooohooo!lets be contented with what we have for God knows what we exactly need he would neither give too much that you cant handle not too little that you cannot bear. for he has his own plans with us. a plan to prosper us and not to harm us just trust in his name and all things Shall happen

Believe it or not but we are actually almost on the same boat. Although it would be nice if I was really born with a silver spoon so life would be a lot easier with some extra cash at hand just by a trip to the bank. Well I guess we just have to face reality for people like us and just live within our means. Thank you for your post/comment. More power to you and God bless.

a lot of us will say yes coz you dont need to strive hard to earn money. all you need to do is just study and wait for your parents to give you your part or give you the job that they started.

Well lets wait for all of their replies because I am expecting some to react the other way. But I know for a fact that these would just be a handful. And, yes I would also like to be born with a silver spoon, and not just silver but gold preferrably.

I would say I sometime feels like but thinks about the poorer people then I am and then I content myself with what I have right now... I have this feeling of being born with a silver spoon when I get my salary and spent them here and there and enjoyment and then at the month end I feel like I should have born with a silver spoon...

Most people are not contented with their financial standings as of now. And, yes like you I would like to be born with a silver spoon so I would have some extra money to spend for myself for the things I want to buy.

I really wish it too but nevertheless I never regret that I was born like this. Life is good no matter what your financial status in life. It's how you live your life that really matters.

oh I suppose there are days that I get to feeling a bit regretful that I do not have some of the material ease that others I know have...but really I am glad I was not born with riches I surely would not have been the same person had I been. I believe God gave me to the parents he did and put me in the time He did that would best help me to save my soul, maybe I would not behave well with money, I don't know but He sure has allowed me protection from finding out. :)

No one is born with a silver spoon as you know it is just a saying but what we all must understand that everyone thinks that there life is unfair to them and that they are not happy with it but all fails to realise that their life is far more better then they think.

I think everybody born with the same amount of potentiality. It is how we manage it that matter. But of course how we've been raised is also in effect.

I was born with a silver plated copper spoon. There were ups and downs in life but our family fortunes were always on the rise as I was the only child in the family. I think every first born has a silver spoon. But my fortunes always increase thanks to my hard working parents, and my son is born with a silver spoon.

Definitely not! My parents are/were upper middle class. My father saved well. He invested money and only bought for us things we needed. I certainly didn't have a television in my bedroom. Heck, I wasn't allowed to watch TV after dinner on a school night. I have kids whose friends all have TVs in their bedrooms, they have telephones and cell phones and computers. It's disgusting the way kids are spoiled these days. Even if I could afford it, I would not let my children have TVs in their rooms. My husband would let them but I think it is totally unnecessary and separates the family unit. It also defeats the purpose of sending a child to their room for punishment.
My parents had money but they didn't silver spoon me and I am glad for that. However, I hate living poor now.

I WAS born with a silver spoon!
It was customary to offer a silver spoon to newborn babies, as a good luck charm, to wish them wealth and prosperity in their future.
I'm also a testimony that these silly superstitions don't really work! :D

I wished a lot of times that I was born with a silver spoon. I am fed up of the amount of work I have to do. I just wish i don't have to do any work yet live in luxury.
