A generation gap is a term used to describe wide differences in cultural norms between members of a younger and their elder generations. This can be defined as occurring these two categories of people do not understand each other because of their different experiences, opinions, habits and behaviour. I think only way is to put each other in the other person's shoes. Elders should be sensitive to the youngers and the youngers should be submissive and respectful to the elders. Mutual respect has to be there.
